Planting and caring for the cylinder cleaner is astonishingly simple given the extravagant flowers.

The crimson cylinder cleaner (Callistemon citrinus), like all cylinder cleaner species, comes from Australia, where it grows on damp to wet, sometimes even flooded soils near water. The small, evergreen shrub from the myrtle family (Myrtaceae) came to Europe as early as 1788 and has been offered by gardeners for cultivation in private home gardens or conservatories since around 1815. As a container plant with idiosyncratic but beautiful flowers, the cylinder cleaner is as popular today as it was then.

  • You pay 1 euro real shipping costs for each delivery in Germany. If you order several products you only pay 1 euro. The shipping costs always remain the same.

If there are several products, we often add a free gift or increase the number of goods delivered.

  • We always source the Callistemon seeds fresh from Australia.

Since the seeds of the cylinder cleaner or bottle cleaner tree are very small, they are difficult to sow individually. That is why it is advisable to distribute several small "pinches" of the Callistemon seeds on a nutrient-poor potting soil and to cover them lightly with soil. Then moisten regularly.

A detailed illustrated manual is included in the delivery !!!
