Since wild plants grow more slowly, many more vital substances can form than in cultivated aloe vera plants, for example the proportion of the central active ingredient of aloe, acemannan, and the content of valuable vegetable protein are almost twice as high. Die Aloe Vera Samen beziehen wir immer frisch aus Südafrika .
Die Samen der Aloe können vom Frühjahr bis in den Herbst hinein ausgesät werden. Beim Kauf der Erde sollte darauf geaachtet werden, dass die Pflanze einen wasserdurchlässigen Boden benötigt, am besten eignet sich kieshaltige Kakteenerde. Diese gibt man in einen Topf mit 13 Zentimetern Durchmesser, der bis etwa einen Zentimeter unterhalb des Randes gefüllt wird.
Die Samen werden gleichmäßig auf der Oberfläche verteilt, sparsam mit einer Sprühflasche befeuchtet und mit einer dünnen Schicht feinen Kieses abgedeckt. Damit die Erde nicht austrocknet, wird eine transparente Tüte übergestülpt und der frisch bepflanzte Topf an einem halbschattigen Ort platziert. Hier sollte die Temperatur stets mindestens 21°C betragen.
