Younger boxwood plants usually do not form seed pods, but only flower.

Cool, but not too cold and humid weather is ideal. So it can happen in our latitudes, that after mild winters the box trees grow wild and seedlings appear all over the area of an old specimen. And that is why it is generally possible to multiply this wood by seed itself.
