The aloe is a succulent plant that has long, narrow, thick leaves that contain the aloe juice. Their tribe, however, is barely trained.

The aloe probably originally came from the Arabian Peninsula. Today, however, you can find them as wild succulents in almost all countries in the world, including Africa, the Mediterranean countries, South and Central America and various Asian countries.

Already in the Middle Ages the plant was an integral part of the popular herbal elixir "Sweden bitter" which was taken to treat many diseases (digestive problems, pain relief, dizziness, fever and insomnia). But even in ancient Egypt, the aloe had a firm place in culture. There it has already been used to treat gastrointestinal complaints and wounds. She is even said to have been the secret of Cleopatra's beauty.

The seeds of the aloe can be sown from spring to autumn. When buying the soil, it should be ensured that the plant needs a water-permeable soil; gravelly cactus soil is best. This is put into a pot with a diameter of 13 centimeters, which is filled to about one centimeter below the edge.

The seeds are evenly distributed on the surface, sparingly moistened with a spray bottle and covered with a thin layer of fine gravel. To prevent the earth from drying out, a transparent bag is put over and the freshly planted pot is placed in a partially shaded place. The temperature here should always be at least 21 ° C.

A detailed illustrated manual is included in the delivery !!!
