Named in honor of Caspar Wistar, a professor of anatomy at the University of Pennsylvania. Wisteria is none other than the species we call wisteria or wisteria. It is a climber covered with a beautiful and generally fragrant blue-violet flower from late April to June. There are two specific North American species (W. macrostachys, W. frutescens) and four East Asian (W. sinenis, W. venusta, W. japonica, W. floribunda).

Within the house, the seeds can be grown from January to September. The seeds should be slightly roughened with sandpaper beforehand and then placed in room-warm water overnight. This is how they can swell. Then place them in moist soil or coconut fiber. The seeds germinate with consistent humidity and temperature quickly and easily after 2 to 8 weeks.
