The carob tree has much more to give to humans than it takes. Resistant to heat and drought, it provides ample shade with its sweeping crown. The dark purple flowers sprout directly from the trunk and branches. The carob tree presents its brilliant achievement in the form of long, curved pods, the nutritious sweet pulp of which is processed in a variety of forms. In the local regions, the exotic legumes are rare. The Ceratonia siliqua, on the other hand, compensates for this deficiency by providing a home for many beneficial insects and decorating sun-drenched corners on balconies and terraces with its distinctive stature in the tub.

Since the seeds of the carob tree have a very hard shell, it is first necessary to roughen them up and soak them for 24 hours.
Then cover them approx. 3 to 10 mm with potting soil and keep the seeds moist in a warm, partially shaded location for about 20 to 30 days until they have germinated. In exceptional cases, germination can take much longer.
A detailed illustrated manual is included in the delivery !!!
