Actually, strawberries are not real berries. Botanically, they are among the collecting nut fruits, because botanists call the strawberry seeds nutlets because of their hard, overgrown fruit peels. At maturity, the flower soil forms a fleshy pear berry, the actual nut fruits are the yellow-brown seeds or nutlets on the surface.
The duration of germination is between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the strawberry variety. Present the two cotyledons, the cover is ventilated daily. The seed must not dry out during this phase and should find the brightest possible light conditions.

The best time for sowing strawberries is between the end of January and mid-March, the monthly strawberries bloom and then start to grow in the first year of cultivation. Fill a sowing tray with nutrient-poor soil and distribute the seeds as evenly as possible. They are not covered with earth, but only well pressed and moistened, because strawberries are light germs! The vessel is then covered with plastic wrap or with a matching transparent plastic hood. The culture dish should be in a bright place without direct sunlight, the optimum germination temperature is just over 20 degrees. Depending on the variety, the seeds germinate after two to six weeks.
